We donated a van from our fleet of vehicles to help community based projects in Liverpool. After carrying out the necessary repairs to the van, we handed the keys to the Breckfield and North Everton Neighbourhood Council (BNENC), a community based voluntary organisation, located to the north of Liverpool city centre. It provides practical help, advice, support and training to some of the 15,000 residents in one of the most deprived areas in the country.
Following partnership work on a community garden, we decided to donate a van from our fleet, to enable BNENC to deliver more community based projects in the area.
Gill Kelly, Managing Director, said: “We’re passionate about supporting the communities we work in, and this was great opportunity for us to donate a van – that had reached the end of its fleet life – to a community group that strives to make people’s lives better.”
