Our apprenticeship strategy

We want to create employment and development opportunities for young people as we recognise the pressures they face when making decisions about their career.

We provide on the job training, allowing apprentices to gain qualifications and receive support and guidance throughout their learning.

As part of our apprenticeship strategy, we have exceeded our target to ensure that 6% of our workforce is made up of apprentices. By 2023, our aim is to have 10% of our workforce made up of apprentices.

We have partnered with The Learning Foundry, a training company in Liverpool, to deliver the qualification element of our apprenticeship programme.

What are the benefits?

  •  A four-year apprenticeship with guaranteed income - all apprentices will receive £12,000 in their first year and national minimum wage thereafter.

  • On the job training and development

  • Regular mentoring and coaching session with The Learning Foundry

  • Catch up and review sessions with the training provider, The Learning Foundry, to ensure you are on track with your apprenticeship.
