As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility activity, we donated £5,000 to Petrus Community to support their double back to back garden at this year’s Tatton Park Flower Show.
The garden was been designed by a team from Petrus Incredible Edibles Rochdale (PIER) who wanted the garden to reflect a service user’s journey through life with Petrus. Service users drew on their past experiences with the aim of challenging negative stereotypes associated with homelessness.
“Gill Kelly, Managing Director at M&Y Maintenance and Construction said: “M&Y Maintenance and Construction has worked with Petrus for a number of years, carrying out refurbishment work to the Petrus Hub and donating a vehicle to Petrus Community. We were delighted to support Petrus PIER with their garden at Tatton Park this year. The garden looked incredible and the feedback was fantastic.”
